Hello, my 12 year old cat has liver tumors and treated with a round of antibiotics and one month of Ursodiol., which I ended two months ago since she responded well. However, She now has jaundice as seen by the ears and seems uncomfortable. She is eating and drinking water. A bit unstable in her legs. I have slated to put here down in 2 days, since I do not like invasive therapies. Perhaps, I should have another go around with the Ursodiol. Am I making the right decision to put her down?
My dog has very elevated liver enzymes most likely from her diabetes. Her vet has recommended ursodiol for 30 days. He gave her a dose of 250mg once a day. However she weighs only 26 pounds. Is this dosage too high for her?
my doberman is pregnant , 30 days , i am giving vitamin tablets ,is calcium tablets good during pregnancy , please advise me the good tablets food for her good delivery
My dog has very high liver enzymes 224 alt and 1976 alkp. These are down from>2000 and 296 after denamarin twice a day. We are now adding ursodiol 1/2 250 mg pill twice a day. At 15 pounds this seems higher than the recommeded doses I have read. Your Thoughts?
Our dog has been treated for liver issues. He currently is taking Hepato and Ursodiol. Since being sick, he has had a terrible sounding cough. We are not sure of its connection to his liver condition, but we are concerned that it doesn't get any better. We would appreciate any suggestions.
Wrong dog ate Phenobarbital accidentally. Took one and a half tablets (16.2 mg tablets). What should I do?
My dog was prescribed with prednisone tablets and griseofulvin tablets last Friday for itchy skin. Can I just stop giving her the medicines or should I slowly wean off the meds? If slowly wean off, how do I do it for both the tablets? My dog was given 10 prednisone tablets, each 5mg for twice a day and 10 griseofulvin tablets, each 125mg for once a day. It has been 5 days now since my dog ate her medicines and has been very weak, tired and thirsty since then. Is that a problem to be afraid of?
My Labrador Retriever puppy he is 40 days old he is not eating his calcium tablets so please suggest me how should I give him tablets
Hi there, my dog was diagnosed with hepatitis 4 months ago. She was shaking really bad and that’s when we took her to the ER. Since then she’s been on ursodiol, but her shaking has returned and she’s acting the same as before she was diagnosed. What should I do? I unfortunately can’t afford to spend another $7000 for hospitalization. Any advice helps, and thanks in advance.
Is Denamarin the best product to support dogs liver which has been damaged by tablets ?
Would you recommend Tri-Heart Plus Chewable Tablets for heartworm and Simparica Chewable Tablets for fleas and ticks? I want to get the right brand, but I'm worried about the cost, and these were some of the cheapest I found.
A veterinarian visited my pet and prescribed Thyroid tables 75mcg for my pet. After giving tablets i can notice that pet is panting a lot, drinks more water and reduced food intake. Are these common for pets taking thyroid tablets?
