Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco! Generally, rabbits keep themselves pretty clean so you shouldn't be bathing too frequently. However, if you do need to bathe her, you can use Kaytee Squeaky Clean Critter shampoo. This is fine to use as an over the counter product specifically for rabbits.

Try an enzymatic toothpaste such as Virbac C.E.T. Enzymatic Toothpaste. Make sure whichever toothpaste/toothbrush you decide on has the VOHC (Veterinary Oral Health Council) seal of approval on it. If the fingerbrush is not working as well as you'd like, try a brush with stiffer bristles or use a gauze pad.

I apologize, I am not sure if I understand your question. I am not sure if you mean that there is something on Koda's coat, or if you are concerned about drying his coat and skin out by using this product. I will speak to a normal hamster, and if this is not correct, please re-post your question. Normal hamsters typically are very fastidious, which means they are very concerned about their appearance. :) They are very good at grooming and keeping clean, and often do not require bathing at all. This can change as hamsters get older, or if they get sick. The reason for this is that when these changes occur, hamsters may not feel well and then they don't put as much effort into their grooming. Excessive bathing can result in drying of the skin and coat, which can be irritating and may cause Koda to begin scratching or bothering his skin. I would recommend using caution with bathing if Koda is a normal, healthy hamster. I hope that helps to answer your question!

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would ask your vet for oral (pills) sedatives to try at home. I would also purchase a muzzle to use so he can not bite you. Maybe with the right combination of sedatives and muzzle you will be able to trim around his face and do his nails. Sadly there is a small group of dogs that need injectable sedatives to have their nails done at the Vet. You can also practice with the oral sedatives, using yummy treats and gently play around his face and feet with the hope to desensitize him. It would take time and practice. You can also hire a trainer or a Veterinary behaviorist. I hope this helps and I wish you and Baby Bum the best!

Congrats on your new addition! It looks like you have everything you need. A water bottle wasn't listed, so if you don't have one be sure to pick one up at the local Petco. Rabbit safe chew toys can also be found at the store. Melo can eat as much timothy hay, oat hay or similar grasses as he wants. Do not feed him any alfalfa and limit pellets to about 1/8 cup daily. he can get a cup or two of fresh greens daily as well. If you have any additional questions, you can post them here.
