Before some days his paws were smooth.Now There is a golden hairy and hard appearance on the black area of the paws of my lab . He always chew them .pls help me.all the four feet are affected

Luna’s front paws are red and swollen around her nails. She seems to be licking and chewing her paws more than normal, too. We have used Soft Paws since she was about 8-10 weeks old, but removed them as soon as we noticed the irritation. We use the same litter we always have.
