The Kennel Deck

My cat, Moe, ran away three months ago. Twice in the last two weeks he has shown up on my deck. Last night he got in his favorite spot on the hot tub and when we went to open the door to let him in, he ran away. This happened both times we saw him on the deck. Does he hate us or is he just skittish after being in the wild for so long?

is it too late to kennel train a 4 month old puppy? when we first got him, i would put him in his kennel because i was afraid of him peeing on my bed but he would whine all night long, it’s hard to sleep when he does that. but now i want to start putting him in his kennel when i go out but he absolutely hates the kennel. how could i start gradually getting him to stop whining and going in the kennel on his own?

I have two dogs. One I got from the pound and he came with kennel cough. It's been a couple weeks and he's been getting better . But now my second dog has kennel cough (via the first dog). Can they pass the kennel cough back and forth ?

My 2 yr old dog (German Shepherd-Cattle Dog Mix) has become scared of the dog kennel all of a sudden. She’s never had issues and we have had her for 4 mos. In the middle of the night she’s whining and sometimes barking. We can’t figure out the reason why this is happening. We left one day for a few hours and she tore up her bed in the kennel, she’s been left in her kennel for a few hrs at a time with no problem before. Her behavior is out of the ordinary. Please help!

Can dogs get the symptoms of kennel cough after the getting the vaccine?

I have two females and two males six weeks today ready to go to there forever homes and I made them a kennel outside and got home from work one had there head stuck in the kennel and was gone

It was recently suggested to me that, in order to train them to pee in a specific place inside the apartment (when I can't take them outside), I have to kennel train my dog. I've only ever seen articles on kennel training to stop them from peeing inside. How can I use kennel training to teach my adult dog how and where to pee inside?

So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.

We have a huge fenced in dog kennel about 30 feet from our house and our dogs go in it to use the bathroom. But when we take them out without leashes they run away. We already tried electric collers. Building a fence to the kennel is not an option. How do we do this???

Good morning; our family recently added a Shiba Inu puppy to our family, Punk. He is being treated with 2 antibiotics for kennel cough and pneumonia. We have done our best to keep him quarantined. Hi, my lab is 19 months old, over the summer tested positive for anaplasmosis, platelets were low normal, treated with doxy then normal. Now he has kennel cough. Could the two be related or that it's just the anaplasmosis, not kennel cough? Or could anaplasmosis make him have a weaker immune system?

How do I get my 3-1/2 month old Shihtzu sisters to stop eating each other’s poop. I forgot to add they have a Doggy door to go out on the deck to go potty. So I don’t always see them go out in time to stop the munchies.
