small dog. usually engertic but today afternoon feeling down. walks not normal as usual. its body is not straight but a bit uphill looking. i meant the butt area to face is like a mountain. what is the problme?
best treatment on a small dog with broken trochanter major. Vets here want to remove the top small broken piece on Monday. I want to know of that procedure is normal. They say it is very difficult to attach it again with small dogs. They told me it would be better that way and the doig will be running again in a few months.

Hello, my cat (female, neutered, year and a half) had calicivirus. Now she limps and she can't jump to hight places. One vet says that she has osteoarthritis in the left elbow and right hip. He recommends growth factors and stem cells, not a surgical intervention.. The other veterinarian says that it is insufficient ossification because she is still too young. He recommends two weeks of calcium. These two oppinions are totally opposed. I don't know what to do. These are the x-rays. Thanks
Hi, I have med size multi breed pup, ridgeback dingo bull mastiff sort of dog. We found her 9 mths ago hairless, mange starving 7 weeks old near dead. we had her to the vet who helped us get her thro that but now she has sore joints often limping on different legs of liking and looking at affending joints, She runs around with a border collie on and off but then pays the piper. She is happy, eats well, looks good healthy coat good colour gums and tongue and teeth any advise appreciated.
Our pup was diagosed with a mild laxity palpated on the stifles, but no apparent luxation. If it builds to anything in the future, is that treatable? What is that procedure known as?
We are just getting a pup who will be 8 weeks this Saturday when he comes to our home. The breeder's vet has found a mild laxity palpated on the stifles, but no apparent luxation. Should we be concerned for this pup? Should we go with any other pup? He is the only one in this litter who has this. They say on a scale of 1 being mild 4 being Severe, he is way less than 1.
Hi I have just receive this report for my 10 year old Lab with the option of amputation - LF paw: marked degenerative changes with lots of new bone formation in the metacarpal-phalyngeal joint of 4th toe. Toe is also rotated medially. Suspect rupture of supporting ligaments, with instability leading to marked osteoarthritis (OA) and pain. Only mild instability palpable in examination.
