Hi. I feed my cat sheba wet cat food. But in the feeding guidliness on sheba said that 1/4 to 1/2 can for 1 to 5 kg per day and 1/2 to 1 can for 5 to 10 kg per day, and the can is inly 3 ounces. Should I follownthis feeding guidliness?
We stopped giving dry food for our cat from last week. We used to give him Sheba tuna and chicken twice a day. I have 12 week kitten was bottle feed since 2 days old. As slowly changing her to eating went to several foods. She is very picky. Seba went food seem to work ok. Trying to get her train to dry food. At first s big no.. now as I try to make it completely diet. She will vomit it up some time now once a day. I m getting flustered. Also the cost of staying on sheba is about 20 dollars a week plus. Why is my cat always hungry? I was overfeeding her and she's a little overweight, so I now feed her the recommended amount of food twice per day, but she's always hungry much sooner than the next feeding time. This morning she went so far as to eat a small piece of rotten meat out of the garbage. It's been two months, she's still not adjusting to the feeding schedule and she's still overweight. I've been feeding her Blue Weight Control dry food, and Sheba wet food occasionally.
Just asked about Tempest's farts, was told to go to a better quality food. Thing is, we have her on what I understand is a really good quality brand. Purina One True Instinct Natural Grain Free Chicken dry food, and Sheba Perfect Portions Pate and Cuts in Gravy for wet food. We feed her 2 scoops of dry in the morning, 4am-7am range, with 1 portion (1oz) of wet, usually she gets the dry to last until 5pm, and then we give her one dry scoop and one wet portion at about 9:30pm. Water always filled.
Took tiger to the vet today she’s 2.5 kg = 5.5 lbs they told me she’s normal weight since she’s 1 yr 10 months but i want to let her gain a little weight, i used to feed her friskies and sheba ( the only brands she would eat ) . My 9 mo/old kitten has suddenly been experiencing bouts of diarrhea for several weeks. He will have a normal bm and then the next will be diarrhea. Acts normal. His diet consisted of primarily Sheba 3x day and he would occasionally graze on my other 2 cats dry UTI kibble. I thought maybe it was the wet food so I let him mainly eat the Iams dry but that didn’t stop it. Switching foods hasn’t stopped it. He isn’t overeating. Goes outside in his catio but is on Revolution so I know it’s not worms..
Sheeba is about 14, and a rescue from a severe case of neglect. Her neck and back are damaged and distorted. She was on Rimadayl for pain, half a tab once a day.
