I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult. I want to make sure I'm feeding them the best and most cost efficient way. What would you recommend feeding them, and how, and how much? Do their weights (attached photo) seem healthy?
Just asked about Tempest's farts, was told to go to a better quality food. Thing is, we have her on what I understand is a really good quality brand. Purina One True Instinct Natural Grain Free Chicken dry food, and Sheba Perfect Portions Pate and Cuts in Gravy for wet food. We feed her 2 scoops of dry in the morning, 4am-7am range, with 1 portion (1oz) of wet, usually she gets the dry to last until 5pm, and then we give her one dry scoop and one wet portion at about 9:30pm. Water always filled.
Hi. I feed my cat sheba wet cat food. But in the feeding guidliness on sheba said that 1/4 to 1/2 can for 1 to 5 kg per day and 1/2 to 1 can for 5 to 10 kg per day, and the can is inly 3 ounces. Should I follownthis feeding guidliness?

When I run out of cat food I give my cats either tuna in water or sardines in tomato sauce, whichever I happen to have on-hand. This happens about once every two months. Is there one of those I shouldn't give them? Or should I give them one over the other if I have both? They haven't had any I'll effects to either (and prefer sardines).

We stopped giving dry food for our cat from last week. We used to give him Sheba tuna and chicken twice a day. Yesterday I had given him Sheba prime cut chicken breast at night, he ate it fast and morning I saw that he has vomited. He has eaten this food before 4 to 5 times. Please advise me. I switched my cats food from dry to soft because their vet found they gained too much weight on dried food. I give them one 5.5 oz can each in the morning and at dinner time. Why do they seem so hungry all the time now? Can I add dried food to the soft food for substance?
One of the many options I have considered for my senior cat with FLUTD is giving him an all canned food diet. He currently eats dry food and some wet. When I look at the can, the feeding suggestions state 1 can per 2.5 pounds. So that would be about 4 cans. He’s lucky to finish an entire can in a day. Does this indicate that a canned diet might not be best or do some cats eat less than than that suggestion or because he has dry too? I’ve only ever gave cats dry food so this all new to me. Thanks
