Dog has been having these patches(attached pics) 5 mos. Now. Vet has prescribed him with chlorphenaime, prednizone, scavon, mycocide, itraconazole, atopex, even injected anti-mange but can’t seem to pinpoint what this is. He is also on a hypoallergenic diet. Can I use quadriderm ointment on him? His skin condition isn’t getting any better.

Is there any over the counter shampoos you recommend to help soothe my pup that has demodectic mange? She was switched from trifexis to simparica and interceptor plus for treatment but I want a shampoo that will help soothe it during regular baths I give her.

Rumple was on Cephalexin 750mg twice a day for a total of 17 days (with a three day break after 7 days) he finished them November 1st 2018. For the last 7 days he was also on Fortiflora Canine PVD. Since being on the antibiotics his poos have continued to be abnormal, although, some times they seem to be getting closer to normal colour and consistency but then they go back to being partly clay-like texture on one end and degreasing to more difficult to pick up near the finish. i have two dogs both approx 2 years in age.both are treated regularly for fleas and ticks with Sentry plus..The male was first to exibit skin problems on his tial head running along hi back approx8 inches.He rubs it raw almost on anything available.Now my bitch too has started showing sings of this as well however not as sever.i have 4 dogs total all large breed and all indoor.(yes its crowded in the bed)only these 2 show any problems at first just thought it was winter dryness .no change indiet

My 11week puppy is having a reaction on his belly. He had flees when we got him (week 9) that we treated with advantex (advised by petsmart). The flees are gone but it seems the bites/irritation got infected afterward. Small green puss filled boils formed, kind of scabbed over, now his skin is looking progressively more bumpy and dark. Much worse than when he had flees! 1st bath baby shampoo, 2nd Dr bronner lavender/coco oil solution.
