Looking for scent my 1 yr kittens will TOTALLY DISLIKE and not go near. Orange or lavender essential oil mixed 10 drops to 1/4 cup or just on cotton ball haven't worked
Try an apple cider vinegar mixed 1:1 with water. You could also try a peppermint mixture. They also make a product called Shake Away that is suppose to smell like Coyote urine (a cat predator). Hopefully you will find one that he dislikes! I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Is there any other way to train a stubborn old cat, he's about 10 and seems to never get the hint. since he was two I've tried using spray bottles, treats, and even bonking him in the head on his butt (gently of course). Nothing has worked.
Hello and thanks for using Boop by Petco! It may be helpful for you to provide more details as to what behavior you're trying to correct in Sabbath. As you have found out spraying with water and tapping or hitting never work. These punishments can actually make things worse and are not recommended. Positive reinforcement and consistency are key in any training. A Feliway diffuser may help you as well. Again, depending on the behavioral problem there may be different solutions so more details are helpful in Sabbath's case. If you are running into problems a consultation with your veterinarian or even a boarded veterinary behaviorist will help. They can even discuss behavioral medications if necessary.

We have 10 cats indoors due to a 2 litter rescue of sisters 2 weeks apart. All but 1 have been spay nurtured. No matter what I do they constantly pee in my counter tops and stove and Im so over it. I clean and disinfect daily. Is there anything SAFE
Thanks for the info about the litter boxes. Yes, it does matter! The rule is to have one litter box for each cat, plus one extra. So ideally, you should have 11 litter boxes. Anyway, as for a product, I recommend Skout's Honor. I use it when my cats have accidents, and it's amazing. I hope this helps!

Over the counter Hartz and Sentry products do not work. I suggest you get prescription strength flea medications. You can easily get these medications from one of our VETCO clinics inside Petco stores.
