You will need to have flavored medications made at a special pharmacy called a compounding pharmacy. Your vet may know of a local compounding pharmacy that may make flavored medications, so I would check with them. If they do not have a suggestion, I have been very pleased with Road Runner Pharmacy ( https://www.roadrunnerpharmacy.com/ ). Good luck! I hope that was helpful and answered your question. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! There are a few medications for appetite stimulation but my preferred ones are mirtazapine and Entyce. However, the best thing to improve appetite is to find out what is causing the appetite to be low and treat it. I would encourage you to check in with your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a great day!

Over the counter Hartz and Sentry products do not work. I suggest you get prescription strength flea medications. You can easily get these medications from one of our VETCO clinics inside Petco stores. Here are the ones in your area: ( https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/clinic-locations-and-schedules/?zip=77081 ) Take the cats with you. It is first come, first serve and there is no exam fee so just the cost of the products. The vet there can advise you when you can give the new product based on when you applied the other product. You also need to treat your house and yard (if you have one for fleas). I suggest these products: ( https://www.allivet.com/p-1389-knockout-es-area-treatment.aspx ) ( https://www.allivet.com/p-9065-vet-kem-yard-spray-32-oz.aspx?SearchTerm=yard%20spray+Auto ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Unfortunately, there are no oral medications (prescription or non) that will help him. The eye probably needs topical medications so you will have to catch him to even try. I would recommend offering him canned cat food so he can eat without much discomfort. If he eats the canned food, maybe you can use it to lure him into the trap. Good luck!

Hello, and thanks for using Boop by Petco. Unfortunately, Denamarin only comes in tablet form. You could try pill pockets, or potentially crush it and mix it with a bite of canned all-meat baby food. If that doesn't work, and you're really struggling to get the medication into him, I recommend reaching out to your vet. We understand that many cats are nearly impossible to get pills into! There are other liver support options, such as milk thistle, that can come in liquid form if you need a "plan B" option. It wouldn't be quite as good as Denamarin, but better than nothing! Hope this helps!
