Salix Prescriptions for Small Animals & Other Pets

Hi, my small poodle/fox terrier mix was diagnosed as having a mass inside his stomach that’s “probably cancer”, that’s causing excess fluid to build up in his lungs. He is being treated with Salix 2x a day. He was brought to the vet yesterday for a chest tap and there was a lot of pink, milky fluid that came out. He had an echocardiogram because the vet heard a murmur. The results were that the murmur wasn’t bad enough to cause this much fluid. I just need to know if this is speculation.

Tot is being treated with Simplicef for a respiratory infection. She also has heart disease and takes vetmedin, enalapril, and Salix. She has no appetite (she acts like she wants to eat it, but just pushes it around and seems confused by it) and after 6 days, I don't see any change in the respiratory symptoms. She has had this before, and I don't remember it taking this long for her to get better. Is this abnormal? She has 6 more days on the simplicef.

Is it okay for my dog to chew on a willow tree stick?

Can I give my gerbil fresh branches or fresh leaves?? any fresh leaves??

dog ear waxy and sore squelcky sound

Hello, my bunny Snow is not eating the hay we give her only when she is very hungry I think. But when i feed her lettuce it is the only thing she wants.

My horse got some hoary allysium in her hay and it caused her to have severe stocking up in her legs to the point I was worried she would founder. We live rurally and it can be hard to get a vet here. If this happens again i am wondering what can I give her to help her- would bute work? I also would like advice for preventing this from happening again...? I am not in a position to get rid of all my hay that we are saving for winter! Thanks for your time :)

can I use phytoplex on my dog

our dog brought in a dead sago palm branch that was lying on the ground outside in the house. the branch or leaves were not chewed on and their were no bite marks she just carried in her mouth from outside in our yard to inside our house

Is walnut litter a good litter to use on asthmatic cat? Also vet prescribed albuertol syrup 2 ml as needed, if sweetie is not coughing she should not take it until she does cough right?

Sandy ate a bunch of cottonwood green fuzzy leaves. So far so good, but is she going to get sick from eating them?? She eats all kinds of weird stuff, but hopefully cottonwood fuzzies aren’t poisonous or fatal to dogs???
