My 11 year old Dachshund has just been diagnosed with 2 Tumors,one on her spleen and one on her Liver. She had a growth removed from her stomach 9 months ago and now it seems to have spread, so operating seems futile.Could I put her on Sam-e?The brand I am interested in contains a dosage of 400 mg S-adenosyl-methionine. Inactive ingredients: Hydroxypropyl cellulose, magnesium stearate , silica gel and sodium hydroxymethyl starch. She weighs 10kgs.
Can tony take a lysine supplement with his other meds:amlodipine besylate, methimazole, tumil K potassium supplement and mirtazapine appetite stimulant? He also eats a kidney diet and I wonder if the powder lysine supplement may flavor the food and make him like it better? Thanks!!
My dog ate a bottle of magnesium pills (146 400mg ea.) and the preservative container. He’s 80lbs
My dog 1 yr old Husky) bit an Excedrin that fell on the floor. (did not ingest it. But enough that it got on his tongue and probably a little powder from the bite) There were no symptoms afterward. However, 2 weeks later he suffered a seizure. Then 2 weeks after that, he suffered another seizure. His bloodwork came back that his SDMA is low. The vet put him on Phenobarbital daily. Will he need to take it the rest of his life? Or will the Excedrin eventually go out of his system?

I gave my 7# cat 100 mg gabapentin instead of 50 mg recommended for a small geriatric cat. She is completely out of it. Her heart beat and breathing are steady, but she is completely out of it. Is there anything to counteract it, or can we just wait it out and see a vet tomorrow?
