Hello and thank you for using Boop by Petco! Quercetin is a supplement that has many applications and appears to be safe and well tolerated in dogs. One product that I have seen used that seems to be safe and effective is NaturVet Aller-911 Allergy Aid chews. This has 25mg of Quercetin in it, which would be a safe dose. This brand can be found online or at your local pet store such as PetCo. I would also recommend Welactin omega 3 fish oil capsules to help reduce inflammation and Turmeric root can also help reduce inflammation. A product that may help reduce inflammation is Ayush Herbs Curcumin 97%. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

My personal preference, completed unrelated to Boop by Petco or Petco, would be Cosequin ( http://www.cosequin.com/dogs/ ) or Dasuquin ( http://www.dasuquin.com/en/products/#dog ). Both are made by Nutromax Labs.

Dasuquin may work for Sable. I'd check that out! Cosequin has glucosamine derived from shellfish. You said she is allergic to seashells, but did you mean shellfish? If you meant shellfish, then Cosequin won't be good for her.

A pheromone collar, such as the Adaptil collar, may help decrease anxiety. Gradual desensitization is also strongly recommended. Calming chews, such as Composure chews (by VetriScience) may help but they are not "magic pills". You will need to modify her behavior. This may require the assistance of a certified trainer.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This is a great question! I think the ones that are specifically designed for dogs are way more complete. I would recommend you consider Cosequin or Dasuquin as both cover all the joint supplements such as glucosamine and chondroitin that are great for joint health. Both of these are over the counter. You are usually able to see a marked improvement within weeks to a few months. Best of luck!
