So I asked a question about dog food not long ago and a vet here said that Vets usually recommend foods like Hills and Purina because big companies have medical and nutrition specialists on staff. Purina is pretty big and if their foods are checked, compared to the boutique outfits, why Pro Plan and not Alpo or beneful? Those are also made by Purina. Just an example.
I've been feeding my puppy Purina Beneful Healthy Puppy Dry dog food, today my boyfriend showed me a video of another woman who had bought the same thing for her dog and had been feeding her dog that and she found a few worms within the bag. What brand of food should I switch to? I mean I have a whole bag left so that's money gone to waste because I'm afraid to keep feeding her that so does anyone have any helpful ideas?
My dog's stool is often very soft, sometimes to the point of diarrhea. I have tried different foods, making sure they are high in fiber, but it still is happening. He is a 10-month old Miniature Schnauzer (a breed I know to have sensitive stomachs). Do you think feeding him a mix of Purina Beneful Prepared Meals Stew Variety Pack Wet Dog Food and Midwestern Pet Foods PRO PAC Ultimates Puppy Chicken Meal and Brown Rice Formula Dry Dog Food is ok?
So, my dog does not have a fever, has been fed a commercial diet of Purina Beneful 3 cups 3 times a day with 1/3 of a can of wet dog food 1 time a day, and has lost all interest in her puppies as far as nursing goes. She does not have mastitis as thats already been addressed by the vet. I clipped puppies toe nails to aidnin relief of scratching her teats, but ahe atill refuses to nurse.
I buy Purina Beneful Healthy bites for my almost nine month old pup and she seems to like it but the thing is she eats whenever she wants or I suppose whenever she's hungry and I went to the vetanarian and they say she's healthy and at a good weight so I was wondering if there would be any other dog food that would best suit her breed. I don't want to give her wet food because I don't want her stools to become moist.
I usually mix some canned food with my Buddy's dry kibbles, but im not sure im feeding him a good high quality one. I usually buy Beneful, is it ok?
I just acquired a small dog that it's around 10 years old. I mix dry and wet food. My question is is Beneful and Beyond good wet food to mix with his high protein dry food?
Hi guys, we are puppy sitting lexi and she's been great so far. Her family feed her ceasar soft food cans and Purina beneful kibble. We have had her for a week. The first few days, we mixed in the soft food with her kibble and then we slowly fazed that out and gave her only kibble. Now, it's been 7 days. However, she didn't eat last night. She had an accident in the house over night and in the morning and the morning poo had a slight mucus lining. What is wrong? She is 8 y/o
We have multiple dogs and we feed some on the IAMS brand and the others on Beneful. All the dogs that eat IAMS have started throwing up and one has bloody stools. what is happening and what do i do.
Difference between Purina Pro Plan and Purina One for Kittens
Milo is a mini dachshund and 8 months old tomorrow. We have Purina puppy chow he barely touches but this regular sized dachshund has Purina adult dog food that milo goes nuts over. Would it be OK to start letting milo eat adult Purina dog food? I don't know what else to do to get him to eat what he is supposed to be eating.
I have a golden retriever mix, he eats whole earth, 2x per day, with 1/2 can of beneful, he had sores on his paws, has been given antibiotics multiple times already and it doesn't stop, he also has red hot spots all over. We have a special shampoo for him but nothing is working and the Vet is wasting my money.
