took my dog to the vets yesterday because he kept being sick I was given ( once a day PROMAX ) and ( Cephacare tablets 500mg one and a half twice a day) and told not feed him for three days and take him back to the vets on Monday, we had to struggle to give him his meds because he is not allowed food with them and within 5 minutes he has been sick.

Our dog Snowden was given Acepromazine for anxiety. The dose was 1 1/2 - 2 pills 2 hours before vet appointment. We gave her 1 pill at 11:00 am. By 12 pm, she couldn't walk. She is laying in the yard, and we can't pick her up because she growls at us. She has bitten us before. We were wondering if this drug can be fatal. Should we leave her alone and watch her? Is there anything we can do!? I called the vet, they said to bring her in, but, we can't even go near her to pick her up.

After his first doses, he slept soundly and was calm. As soon as he woke up he began losing his control - I have to confine him to prevent him hurting himself, and he is screech meowing non stop. I tried giving him his second doses today and it's had no impact - if anything, he's worse. What do I do?
