You can try feeding them commercial fish food or meal works from your local pet store. If you would like a consult, you can provide pictures and we can give you a better idea of what kinds of fish they are and if they have special requirements for their diet. Hope this helps!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! As long as it is a good quality diet, these levels are usually kept to a minimum to the point that it is ok to eat it longterm. I recommend brands such as Royal Canin, Purina and Science Diet. Good luck and have a good night!

It sounds like they have "ich". Here is a good video about ich that should answer most of your questions. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVwyOifCRHI ) I suggest you talk to an aquarist in your area to get some medication. You can buy those products at Petco for Beaux. I would advise to only purchase Frontline or Advantix. I would not get anything cheaper than that. Be aware that these are still your best over the counter products but fleas are developing immunity to them. In general, the oral products like Simparica and Bravecto are the best. Please post if you have any additional questions.

A photo of the fish would be helpful if you can get one. It could be infection, injury or parasites. Any new fish, ideally, should be quarantined for at least 2 weeks before being staffed to the main tank. For now, quarantine the fish. Treat with a broad spectrum dewormer. You can find one in the aquarium section of the local Petco. Maintain pristine water quality and add in some plain aquarium salt (NOT table or Epsom salt). This will reduce stress, improve gill function, treat minor infection and aid in recovery. Dissolve 1 teaspoon of salt per gallon of water in a cup or two of tank water and gently pour it into the tank. Treat for no more than 14 days then reassess the condition
