I wonder why my Pomeranian is taller than her parents, her parents are pure breed Pomeranian with pedigree, so I don’t understand why she is not small like her parents
My parents adopted a sweet little dog from a local nonprofit rescue group. they gave my parents the dog's vet paperwork, and a copy of the their payment check. They were supposed to have the microchip changed to my parents contact information. It has been a month and every time we call they say they're working on it. What can we do ourselves to update the information for the microchip. And will Petco do the scan for the chip number?
I often find my puppy eating her parents excrete. A dog trainer told me that it might that the parents are not digesting the food properly making jt attractive for her. Any suggestions on what to do or what could be the reason behind her behavior?
I love animals but my mom says I need to be 12 but I’m 9 and I think I’m old enough if you think I am old enough can you tell me any ideas to persuade my parents to get me a pet
i am adopting a shiba inu from a woman who lives in a country nearby, however i would like to check it’s health certs to ensure that everything is in order. What are the things i should check for in both the puppy and it’s parents? If she is unable to talk to me about it’s parents, would it still be advisable to adopt the pup?
In reference to the excerpt on OCD below, how does one screen parents for this disease? Is there a test? Or at this point, are we just guessing until it shows up in a line and making decisions on breeding from there? It appears that there is a genetic link between parents and offspring and the formation of the disease. Certain breeds and genetic lines are much more likely to develop the disease. Careful screening of parents against this disease is recommended during the selection of all breedi
My parents have decided to put Leo, our cocker spaniel down this Friday, and I have less than two days to fight for him. He's 8y.o. and I think there may still be hope for him. Raw, flaky, and red skin tissue on nose, paws, eyes Drinks more water than normal, voracious appetite Has energy but has trouble getting around because of paws Was on steroids + antibiotics, helped temporarily Weight gain Is there hope for him or have the parents made the right call?

I have to wait until I move out of my parents house to get a second guinea pig for my current one. I will be moving out in June. Is it okay to introduce him to a new guinea pig from a pet store? Would the new guinea pig be too young to be introduced to my current one?
My cat Pumpkin has swallowed a string and not eating, drinking, or using the litter box. We are taking her into the vet tomorrow and surgery is the most common solution. My parents won't pay for the surgery and I don't have enough money to pay either. So if there is nothing to do but surgery, my parents said we have to put her down. What should I do? is there anything I can do at home to help her?
