So Loki is almost two years old ND still wants to eat more bugs than greens. is this normal? If not any suggestions?
Our 5 year old Bearded Dragon seems sick. We’ve had him since birth. He’s always loved to eat meal worms crickets and greens. He’s very picky on the greens we’ve never been able to get him to eat any other fruits or veggies. Few months ago he started glass surfing a lot and acting strange (i.e. darkened beard, bobbing his head) then about 10 days ago, he started acting “lazy” and stopped eating. I can’t take him to a vet as I’m a teacher on summer break and haven’t had a paycheck in 2 months.
How do i get my dragon to eat greens and things? She only eats moving things- worms and crickets. And i soak her in sink everyday because she doesnt know what the water bowl is and about egg binding inside her stomach.
Rabbit reduced appetite, urinating and pooing a little. 2 days ago was laying flat in cage like he had tummy ache, was very cold outside! Brought in and gave 3 syringes of critical care, a bit more alert have seen him eat a small bit of hay but no greens or pellets (that's I've seen!) Is still urinating and poking!
My Egyptian Uromastyx has not been eating for the past couple weeks. Sometimes he eats a small amount of the lentils i give him, but will rarely ever touch the greens. He has also not been in shed for a good 2 months now and i'm worrying about him. The husbandry is accurate and i don't think that is the problem. What should i do?
I’ve been getting a lot of mixed answers as to what to feed my dragon and what the schedule should be I’m a new owner and I also want to know what the light schedule should be right now he seems hungry but won’t eat the collard greens I gave him how do you get them to eat them also how do you bond is it strange that his poop was big
Hi My Netherlands dwarf male had his nutrition yesterday. After the operation he ate some and he popped som, even today morning, but after he breakfast had his last poo... He still eat his hay and some greens but still nothing, he's just hiding and sleeping and still no poo. I'm a bit worrying now. Tomorro morning we have the routine visit to the vet. Do you think is alright?
I have a bearded dragon that’s about 5 months old that hasn’t grown and appears blind. She closes her eyes often and walks into things. She eats about 6-8 crickets a day and some greens, both pretty vigorously. She doesn’t have diarrhea and seems otherwise healthy. She has a sweet temperament and loves to be handled. Any ideas what the issue could be? Our other 3 dragons are doing great. Thanks!
Loki is doing wonderful and one more question. I'm having hell getting him to eat his greens nd I have tried many even put fruit on top. Any suggestions on how to get him to eat them? I mean he is doing great. He gets plenty of uvb and heat, poops once a day, he is growing so big, his shedding is even good. I guess I'm doing something right for him to be thriving as well as he is, right?
So I have two baby Chinese water dragons today is the fifth day I’ve had them they are fine being handled active their enclosure is great and yet I have tried greens they have earthworms in enclosure and today I even have freeze dried grasshoppers any idea as to how I can get them to eat I’ve tried dangling food placing it in water letting them act on their in splitting them up to eat any ideas to get them started
Recently the color of my elderly male rabbit's urine has become a bright orange, spare am. It's neither sludgy nor smelly. A.M.= typically eats Timothy hay pellets & corn kernels, PM=Timothy Hay, Cilantro, Chard, w/rotation of: red bell ppr, dandelion greens, arugula, spinach, occasional parsley. Small pcs of apple every other a.m. Had cpl small pcs of raw pineapple 3 days in a row nearly 2 wks ago. Cld any of these foods be causing his urine to change color or, worse, cause organ failure?
My 7 yr old cockatiel was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat at his annual wellness check. The vet didn’t seem overly concerned about it but I’m worried. Is there a supplement, vegetable or herb I can give him that may help? He is on a mainly pellet diet with fresh greens & is otherwise quite fit & healthy & has free range of the house. I know I should’ve asked the vet at the time but I think I was too shocked having just lost my green cheek conure. Thank you!
