The Pet Gear brand specializes in mobility solutions for dog or cat parents—whether that means the perfect travel carrier for your kitty or a dog ramp so your pup can more easily get in and out of the car. Pet Gear helps take some of the worries out of traveling with pets by providing simple solutions to help keep your pet and their supplies comfortable and easily accessible.
For dogs, the Pet Gear company has created many great solutions to help make dog’s and dog parent’s lives easier and more comfortable—both at home and on the go. They offer upscale and innovative dog crates and kennels for at-home and travel use that can provide comfort for your pup and convenience for you. The beneficial features of a Pet Gear crate can include multiple doors, high-quality materials, multi-way setups, flexibility or foldability.
You’ll also find many dog vehicle, travel and outdoor solutions to choose from that can take some of the stress out of traveling. There are multiple versions of the Pet Gear Easy Step—a great solution to help your pets get in and out of high-up places such as the car, beds, couches and more. Another popular travel solution is the Pet Gear Car Booster Seat, which offers both security and comfort to your pup while they’re in the car—and it’s available in multiple colors and sizes for numerous breeds of canine.
At Petco, you’ll also find Pet Gear Easy Step cat steps and ramps, cat containment options and Pet Gear strollers for cats. Some cats can be more finicky about traveling—especially in confined spaces—and many Pet Gear brand travel solutions are designed with their comfort and needs in mind.

Hi, in terms of cat furniture don’t worry cats don’t need anything particularly fancy. They enjoy sitting on a shelf as in the picture and look outside the window. You would add some cardboard boxes that can also work as cratching posts and a couple of pillow on the bookshelf. I think the feeding area would better be moved, because being right in front of the windows is exposed, they can see/be seen and could spot something that might upset them. It is also advisable to keep feeding areas away from their litter tray and perhaps moving it would help increasing this distance. Are there only two cats in the room ? If so also consider the number of litter trays. I mo not sure how many you have at present, and if things work out well I probably would suggest not to change them. You can find lots of ideas in building/creating cat furniture from ikea furniture if you fancy a change in the future. Also cats will need to be active and interact with you so make sure you consider this in your rou

It's great that you want to be prepared for your new kitten! Aside from the obvious things for the kitten like food and water bowls, I'd recommend a tall scratching post and perch. Two litter boxes in different areas of the house are recommended. Canned kitten food (and canned adult cat food as Myla gets older) is preferred over dry food. Yes! Check out basepaws.com for a genetic test you can buy to use with your cat. You just apply a bit of tape (supplied in the kit) to your cat's fur, submit the entire piece as a sample, and you get results in a few weeks.

Hello. The cats & kittens offered at Petco are actually managed by individual rescue groups. Prices will differ from rescue to rescue. All cats can do well if they are played with & fussed over once you get home. Can they get into trouble & sometimes make a mess? Absolutely. If you do not want hair & dander & kitty litter tracked all over the house, you should not have a pet. Cats may need to have their claws trimmed ( NOT REMOVED ) & plenty of opportunities to exercise their claws, otherwise they will scratch your furniture, moldings & walls. You will need different types of scratching surfaces, plenty of toys, a water & food dish, litter box ( or 2 ), & lots of patience. All cats are individuals, so when you go looking to adopt a cat, take your family & give yourself plenty of time to spend with your potential pet, & ask lots of questions about them. Good luck & thanks for using Boop by Petco.
