I would separate the birds for a few days with the heat lamp just so your healthier bird doesn't overpreen or stress out your other bird further. It is also a good idea to seek veterinary care in person ASAP to make sure she doesn't have any lasting injuries from the fly paper, stress, or anything used on her feathers, especially since she is showing so many general signs of illness.

Thanks for reaching out about Blueberrry. Supplying supplemental heat at 80-85 F can give some support but is not a cure. A veterinary emergency clinic is recommended to provide subcutaneous fluids, start antibiotics. Removed perches and provide a soft towel on the bottom of the cage for comfort. Offer water via a small syringe. Possibilities include infections, metabolic disorders (liver, kidney), ingested or inhaled toxins. Once again, a veterinary visit on emergency is recommended. Good luck.

Thanks for reaching out about your budgie and including photos. How was the fungal infection diagnosed? Fungal infections usually affect the respiratory or gastrointestinal tracts and not neurologic issues. Arthritis or articular gout are possible and radiographs are recommended to assess. Anti-inflammatories could help relieve discomfort but blood work should be taken prior to long term medications. Removing perches or providing broad platforms and climbing ladders, could make perching more comfortable for birds with disabilities. Good luck.

Ideally, Pebbles should be examined by your veterinarian or an experienced avian vet to diagnose and treat any infection or injury. The bumblefoot and cere injury may require antibiotics. Mites and other infection should be ruled out as potential causes for the flakiness. An unbalanced diet may also be a contributing factor. A commercial pelleted diet, such as Harrison's, Lafeber, Pretty Bird or KayTee Exact, supplemented with fresh fruits and vegetables with limited seed is recommended over an all seed diet. The male Rosa Bourke will have a distinct blue band or tint on the cere as well as a distinctly pink colored throat. DNA sexing can also be done to definitively determine gender.
