My dog Dexter is a rescue and although I don’t know much about his medical history, I’ve noticed he might have some trouble with his skin. A vet on this site (thank you Dr. Elizabeth from the U.S.) recommended I start giving him omega 3 fatty acids.

As far as her teeth go, it is always recommended to have a full dental cleaning under anesthesia to resolve any underlying problems and pain, then follow up with something like a water additive to decrease additional dental calculus from forming. My favorite dental product is PetSmile, but it does need to be applied to the teeth. https://petsmileusa.com There has been a lot of evidence that increasing the amount of Omega 3 fatty acids in the diet can make a big difference for inflammation and itching. Since a diet change and adding Omega 3 fatty acids to the diet can both cause loose stool, I normally only recommend that clients make one change to a diet at a time (which includes supplements). Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would put her on a Glucosamine AND Omega 3 fish oils. I like Dasquinn treats and for fish oils I prefer VRS Omega Benefits but it is a liquid. Otherwise try Nordic naturals. Hello. The best thing to do is start Bella on a good glucosamine supplement. Products made by Nutramax like Cosequin are excellent. A good quality fish oil supplement may be started, too, as this can help some aging changes & may also help with her itching. Hello and thank you for contacting Boop by Petco. You should try food supplements containing omega 3. I can recommend Triglyceride Omega by Vetoquinol but there is a wide choice of products on the market. After 3-4 weeks of supplementation you should see improvement.
