My 16 year old Chihuahua got sick and would not eat. I tried wet food with this mixed in and she is back to her old self and even put some weight back on. This is now a part of her diet and she loves it.

About a month ago, my 3 1/2yr old dog was very constipated and refused to eat or drink water. I did some research to find what I could give her since all the vets in town were booked for 6wks in advance. Went to PetCo and found this product and took a chance that it would work. Well low and behold, it certainly helped my dog regulate her digestive system and she liked it. I give her about 3/4tsp. a day right after she eats....she does not like it in her food. I also like the idea of freezing small portions and placing in plastic bag.

      It is more of a digestive aid. For weight control, I recommend changing your dog’s diet and/or portions If your dog needs to lose weight, green beans and carrots are a healthy alternative for treat. If you want to use this as a dog food topper, just be sure to check the recommended serving. Too much pumpkin can upset a small dog’s stomach.

    Can you freeze leftovers of this product and use later?

      I sprayed a cookie sheet with cooking spray and spooned tablespoons on it. Then I put the cookie sheet in the freezer. After the pumpkin froze I was able to remove it and store it in a freezer bag in my freezer. I just take out one a day to go with my dogs meal and let it thaw out.
