Limited ingredient diets come with one major benefit - pet parents are able to identify exactly what goes into their dog's body and avoid any specific ingredients. While a suitable diet for many dogs, LID diets can also be great for dogs with food sensitivities.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! The Science diet sensitive skin and stomach is quite good. I really like all the Nylabone products. I find that dogs really like them and they are fairly inexpensive. They also seem to help with cleaning the teeth a bit. Have a good day!

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Zoey. I would recommend trying Purina Proplan Sensitive Skin and Stomach, Royal Canin Medium Digestive Care or Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and Skin. I hope this information helps!

I love Natural Balance and am really surprised that it caused an upset tummy. As far as flavor goes, most of my patients like the venison and sweet potato the best. If she has skin allergies you want to stay away from the chicken and beef as most dogs are allergic to these. You could try Fromm's which is a little more expensive but a good food. Another option is to do a hypoallergenic diet that is prescribed by your vet. Always slowly mix the old food with the new food to help transition. I hope this helps!

If you have not already tried this food, I would try it. I have had many clients happy with the results. Feed him ONLY this food, nothing else; no treats, no human food, etc. It comes in dry and canned. Give it a good month to 6 weeks - if the diarrhea starts again then post again for more help. I have had very good luck with Purina ProPlan Sensitive Skin and Stomach helping dogs with chronic diarrhea. I would try this. Feed only this food and stop with all the other pumpkin, rice, chicken, etc. If you keep changing things and adding things then you don't know what is helping or hurting. The only other thing I would give is Fortiflora probiotic on top of the food.
