Glad to hear you have added a bunny to your family! They are definitely very rewarding pets to have and certainly have some of their own individual challenges. In terms of just general information, you'll want to make sure Nznz is getting an appropriate diet of leafy greens, timothy hay, occasional small amounts of alfalfa, and other fruits / vegetables. Rabbits have teeth that will continually grow throughout their life so they should ideally have something to chew on to keep them from growing inappropriately. Sometimes, they will require manual teeth trimming if they do not take care of this themselves. As far as when to keep him in and out of the cage, that will ultimately be a personal preference. Rabbits are actually quite a demanding pet, they are relatively cheap at around 30 to 40 dollars. However to take proper care of them you need a large outdoor run and large hutch for night time. Having seen many neglected rabbits that were bought for children with the best of intentions I do not recommend them as a child's pet. For a responsible teenager or adult they can make a great pet. But I would suggest considering adopting a rescue bunny rather th

I would be careful using products designed for other pets on your rabbit as they can become very easily injured. If you'd like Lennon and Waffle to go outside or have more room to run around, an X-pen or other playpen type structure can help to keep them contained while allowing them to stretch their legs and get some fresh air. As for groooming, daily brushing of longer haired breeds can help keep the coat shiny, remove excess hair, and help prevent mats.

Rabbits love to chew. Your best options are to limit your rabbit's access to these items through the use of playpens or gates blocking them, and to make sure Dandie has enough appropriate chew toys in their environment or play area to encourage healthy chewing on those items instead.
