We bought this cage from Petco , the look is actually what were were looking for. Just taking it out of the box it broke. As time went on, it started falling apart little by little. There is no way to secure the water, food or hay dishes so our bunny spilt all the time. As we were potty training her, the urine would go through the sides and on to our floor. The last straw was the bunny hole (house) broke complete apart. For the money it was , it is an awful cage so we took it back. We did not even have it a month.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I’m hopping to use this as an upgrade for my Argentine black and white Tegu. I was wondering how water proof this product is. As I have to most the tegu regularly for humidity. Was also wondering how heat proof it is. Using a 100w ceramic bulb for basking

    Not only is this cage not waterproof, it's also way too small for a Tegu. You want to try to provide an adult tegu with at least 8 square feet of space, at a minimum. Some species may require uo to 16 square feet of space. Unfortunately this means typically purchasing or building custom enclosures

    It could be used for hamsters, mice and gerbils. Nothing else, as there isn't proper ventilation.
