It’s recommended that NaturVet buffered aspirin only be given once per day to most pets. Depending on your pet’s size, age and the severity of their pain, it may be allowable to give aspirin to a larger dog once every 12 hours. However, consult your veterinarian to determine the best dosage schedule and next steps for your pup. And keep in mind—NaturVet buffered aspirin pain reliever is not intended for long-term use.
No, human medication of any sort is not recommended for your dog. The human and dog digestive and immune systems are very different in some key aspects that can make human medication ineffective or even harmful for dogs. Human dosages are typically very different from what's allowable for dogs too. NaturVet dog supplements are made specifically for dogs, which means they are tailored for their specific needs and dosages.
GrassSaver is an oral product designed to prevent canine urine discoloration on lawns. NaturVet’s GrassSaver is generally safe and effective for dogs. However, consult your veterinarian if you have questions about how GrassSaver may impact your dog if they have unique health concerns or sensitivities.
Hemp can potentially be an effective supportive therapy for pets. Some pet parents have reported benefits of hemp for dogs and cats, including alleviating symptoms like pain, arthritis, seizures, anxiety, lack of appetite, cognitive dysfunction and more.
If you’re looking to provide your pet with hemp-based medications, it’s important to use solutions specifically designed for pets. NaturVet Hemp products are a popular choice, however, consult your veterinarian before introducing any new supplements into your pet’s routine.

My cat is 10 years old and appears healthy. Lots of energy and nice cost. He seems to have a problem chewing his Purina Naturals after many years of no problems. He works to break them into smaller pieces Is there a softer dry food? I don't want to go to canned food if possible.
Hi. My vet prescribed Propalin for my dog Cruz for leaking urine. I have him on Thrive Bladder support already (pic attached). 1. Are they safe to use together? 2. Are there any natural remedies I can try instead of Propalin? Thanks!
I'm looking for a high quality limited ingredient diet with sodium levels between 0.3-0.5% dry matter basis maximum. Can someone recommend a brand to me? thanks!
which foods are best for dog with allergies and an enlarged heart
My 15 year old cat has stage 2 kidney disease. She shows no changes in her personality or daily habits. She will not eat any of the renal wet prescription diet food that our vet has suggested. What would be the best brand of store shelf wet food for her? I have been reading labels for high protein and moisture, good Omega 3, low phosphorus and alot of brands seem to be about the same. She is a fussy eater.
My dog has been diagnosed with Vestibular disease. I got a good answer from a vet yesterday that we need to let this improve on its own. I wanted to ask if giving her a supplement like fish oil or some omega 3's for brain health would be beneficial. We are seeing slight improvement (it's been 4 days but want to do everything possible to help her. Thank you so very much for your time and attention
My dog currently takes Hollistic remedies ( calc c and homotox mixed with things such as ubich, apis, etc. due to autoimmune disease which caused swelling of hind legs. He has been off of prednisone for 2 months and suddenly his hind legs became swollen over night. Is it safe to give him licorice root as an alternative to prednisone?
Why is Royal Canin so highly recommended by vets when dog food advisor etc show how low quality the ingredients are? Ie corn fillers, byproducts, meals, etcI’m so confused by the polar opposite recommendations and ingredient quality.
Angel has lung CA, X-ray 1 week ago showed primary mass increasing in size, lots of new smaller masses, RR currently 46 (vet said 30-40 fine), nasal flaring, use of accessory muscles, and new fine crackles to RLL. She looks comfortable, resting, eyes closed, should we bring her to ER or wait til morning? It’s 2230 right now, could try to get her into regular vet in morning. What could be done to make her comfortable? 1xdose furosemide? Currently on prednisone, gabapentin, CBD. Thanks!!
11 year old chihuahua has cushings disease (2 years) and gets treatment from holistic vet. She is on 2x6 drops of trilostane a day (down from 14 drops x2) plus natural medicine. She is very alert, loves walking, but her back legs are lame and front legs are very weak. She visits vet every 6 weeks. Ashley walks 15-20 min. daily, but seeing her falling over is heart breaking. She is in no pain and I massage her legs regularly. Is there anything else I can do to give her quality of life. Trudi
I have a 3 1/2 year old German Shepard. What would you recommend for his daily food?
