Questions
Can I use the Senior Advanced Incontinence chews with the Cranberry Relief chews? I noticed there are similar ingredients in each but different amounts. We purchased the Cranberry Relief for our senior dog's chronic UTI's but she has incontinence as well.
- Hello. Thank you for your product question. They both contain similar ingredients but the Senior Advanced Incontinence product also contains Bee Pollen and Wild Yam Root. Bee pollen aids in urinary incontinence and Wild Yam root is a precursor to estrogen which affects the urethral sphincter muscle receptors which monitor the flow of urine. I would suggest using only the Senior Advanced Incontinence soft chews.

How to handle bowel incontinence in an older dog
My dog is getting older and has recently been having urine accidents in her sleep. She's a spayed female German Shepherd dog, approximately 50 pounds, guessing she's 7 or 8 (she was a rescue). Been going on for several months. No change in appetite or thirst, no decrease in activity level. She has been taking glucosamine and chondroitin for her hips and is now more active. What can I do as far as medicine or dietary changes to help her manage it?
My Doberman pincher was diagnosed with urinary incontinence last year. She was prescribed proin 75mg twice a day and after fighting with her to take it for a month I looked for natural ways to help her and I have tried quite a few ones that either didn't work or only worked for a month or two and then stopped.
