Hi. My cat Miller is on Hills Thyroid Y/D. The wet food is a large tin and he only eats a half tin. I have always stored the other half tin, to be fed the next day, with an airtight lid and kept in the cupboard with no issue. I have recently read on the tin that the unused portion should be kept in the fridge. Is this just a precaution or a must? Thankyou. Leanne

I've read that dry dog food can last up to a year once opened, but I've also read that it should be used within 4-6 weeks after opening. I contacted the company that I buy my food from and they said that the food will be fresh for 18 months after opening. The company where I buy my food is Fromm. I'm confused because I seem to have several different opinions. Which one is correct? Thanks!

I would love to adopt another dog so joe has some company. What is the best way to bring another dog in the house when joe isn’t crate trained? I’m worried about leaving them alone together unattended.

Hello, she doesn't poop outside, but will pee. When we return from the walk she will go and poop on the wee wee pad. She is 17 months old. The other issue whenever I have company she gets so excited and continues to jump on them. When I put her in her room she barks. This makes it difficult to have guest.

Conan was really obedient for us during training,(we had a trainer) but now he won’t listen to anything we tell him to do. When we call him sometimes he’ll just stand and stare at us, then walk away. If he’s excited, (usually when company comes) he’ll bark and run around and just disregard every command. We tried to work with him more, using high quality treats, but he just listens when he gets treats. No treats, no deal. He’s driving my parents crazy. Can you recommend more training techniques?
