Merry Hello, I am considering adopting a dormestic short hair cat from the local animal shelter. The cat is 12 years old, has FIV, will have no teeth,slight due cloudiness, might be anemic. They said other wise he is a healthy cat. Realistically how long can I expect him to live?

My dog had diarrhea at ard 3am and 8am, didn’t manage to get the image at 3am. I’ve cut down his breakfast of kibbles to 100g and gave him some pumpkin. After few hours he vomit out some stuff. Dose he need to go to the vet? Thank you & Merry Xmas

Hi merry Christmas Lily started vomiting tonight She seems okay in herself otherwise but what surprised me is she had a bit of watermelon 9 hrs ago which she has been bringing chunks back Surely it should hv been digested by now? There's no loose stools and I know dogs can frequently vomit for not much of a reason just surprised by the melon which she has had previously and enjoyed

Merry Christmas. I have two cats (sisters) & one got into a bag & got the hand loop caught up around her body. Empty bag except two waterbottles. She got down or fell & ran with one water bottle dragging into my bedroom. I theorize that the second fell on the sister. But after it was all straighten out, the sister attacked viciously her sister (that was caught in the bag). I since kept them separate. She walking fine, no injury i can tell. But she hisses and growls at me & each other. Why?

Apparently my Yorker has had an analogy gland ruptured through the skin next to his anus. I have been putting bag bomb on it thinking it was a blister that popped. After cleaning it this morning and researching anal glands I believe that’s is what has happened. I need to treat at home due to $$ issues and wondered if you have any advice. Should I stop using the bagbalm ?

Hi, my 11 lb dog ate about 120g of beef jerky (2ish g sodium) and I’m not sure if she just has indigestion or if there’s a serious problem. She has been drinking lots of water and urinating a lot since this morning, and she’s been mostly laying down and in discomfort with a little bloat (but no pain when I push on her abdomen). She’s alert when I call her name and she’s been farting up a storm & her stomach is occasionally audibly gurgling. Should we wait out simple indigestion or go to 24h vet?

Jack has been diagnosed with arthritis in his leg.he sleeps outside on wood in a dog run (concrete run with brick shelter with 2 wooden ledges for them to sleep on)I was wondering is there anything (cod liver oil ect) that would reduce the severity/risk of a flare up.He is getting 4 steroid injections over the next 3 weeks.Also would swimming on the beach help.Any more suggestions would be appreciated.would dog food in jelly help.They are just getting basic MADRA dog food at the moment ?

My rabbit seems to enjoy going out and loves people.. I have a trip coming up and will be out of state, would it be alright to bring him?
