Hello and welcome to Boop by Petco. The human medications for car-sickness rarely work well in animals and often can have serious side effects. I would recommend asking your vet about a drug called 'maropitant' or Cerenia. This is the best drug for dogs for car sickness. Alternatively Ondasetron can be used, however it might be hard to get a tablet small enough for Fiona. Best of luck with Fiona, I hope your car trip goes well.

Hello, thank you for using Boop by Petco. The best medication for car sickness is a drug called Cerenia that you must get from your vet. It works the best and the longest with the least side effects. You can also try meclizine or Dramamine which you can get over the counter although it is best to check with your vet before giving any over the counter medications. ( https://www.petplace.com/article/drug-library/drug-library/library/meclizine-bonine-antivert-for-cats-and-dogs/ ) ( https://www.petplace.com/article/drug-library/drug-library/library/dimenhydrinate-dramamine-for-dogs-and-cats/ ) Often times dogs will acclimate and stop getting carsick over time. Hopefully this will happen with Gizmo. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Hi and thanks for using Boop by Petco! Sorry to hear about Leo. Sounds like Leo needs some Cerenia for the trip. This is a prescription drug so he will have to get it through his veterinarian. It's great for motion sickness, nausea, and vomiting. The key is starting the Cerenia one day prior to travel and continuing it throughout the trip. Good luck with Leo

My personal preference, completed unrelated to Boop by Petco or Petco, would be Cosequin ( http://www.cosequin.com/dogs/ ) or Dasuquin ( http://www.dasuquin.com/en/products/#dog ). Both are made by Nutromax Labs.
