Good question. You are doing a good job keeping her calm. Often closing them in a dark room or crate with the music on will help too. Yes, the calming supplements do help and also the thunder shirt. I use Solliquin in my practice but they do sell several kinds at PetCo. They may not fully resolve the anxiety but they will reduce it without drugs. You can buy those products at Petco for Beaux. I would advise to only purchase Frontline or Advantix. I would not get anything cheaper than that. Be aware that these are still your best over the counter products but fleas are developing immunity to them. In general, the oral products like Simparica and Bravecto are the best. Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Inappropriate urination is hard. It is best to rule out medical causes first (bladder stones, crystals in the urine, urinary tract infection) before assuming it is behavioral. I would confine the cats in a room for 1-2 weeks where they can not see the outdoor cats. Use a Feliway diffuser in the room and set one up where they were marking. Get blinds or keep the blinds down so they can not see the cats. You can try to talk to your neighbor but I doubt they will keep them inside. Cleaned the soiled areas with an enzymatic cleaner like Nature's Miracle and Anti-Ichy Poo. Then let the cats back out. If they continue to mark then I would ask your Vet for Prozac. In order to feworm him and also hit tape worm you will need a wormer for cats with the ingredient of "Praziquantel". Tape worm are transmitted by fleas, so you will also need to do flea control. Unfortunately fleas only hop on the body of your pet when they want to feed, then they hop off again and stay in your pet's environment. So you need to treat all pets in the household as well as the environment (which contains the fleas, their eggs and larvae). Flea treatment: 1) Get some flea medication such as a Flea spray or a spot on from a pet shop or your veterinarian and apply monthly 2) get flea powder, put some in your vacuum cleaner bag and vacuum your house and furniture and also non-carpeted areas frequently to remove flea larvae and eggs which live off house dust., Dispose of the bag in the trash outside. Hi there and thanks for your post on Boop by Petco! I would recommend calming supplements for your pets that have L-theanine in them which can have a calming effect.
