Macs back gets sore from the withers to point of hip every once in a while. He is prone to bucking when playing with the other horses so I’m wondering if this is the cause. I bought him about a year ago and he had some old scars on his back where he was sore. Recently, the soreness has come back more severe than before and new scarring is appearing but there has been no scratches or open wounds. He has a custom saddle and is stretched and warmed up well before ridden. What could be causing this?

Yesterday morning my dog threw up a lot of grass (roughly two or three handfuls) and ever since then she has been coughing or 'yacking' consistently as if she wants/needs to throw up more but can't. Also, every time I take her out she immediately starts trying to eat more grass. She still has an appetite which is a good sign, but her energy level is low which is not normal of her. I'd like to know what I can do to help her feel better and when I should be highly concerned. Thank you.
My dog is a 12 year old Labrador who has been quite listless, won’t hold her head up and has trouble climbing onto things. Blood tests have come back clear. She was on ant inflammatory meds which seemed to help.
Our dog, Sarge, had an aural hematoma, which was aspirated and wrapped since it was small. Our vet wrapped it too tightly, causing necrosis. As the dead tissue sloughed, the hematoma essentially drained itself, and our vet has been debriding the dead tissue as needed. Since the hematoma is no longer there, will our dog be able to go back to normal activity without worry that it will return? His original hematoma was caused by his ear hitting the coffee table whIle shaking
Jasper is nearly 7 weeks old, he sleeps through most of the night which is amazing but around 4:30 he wakes up and wants to play. I take him outside to do his buisness, and then I put him straight back in his kennel, but he continues to whine until I get up and play with him. I usually take him into my bed at this point and try and get him to lie down which works after around 15 minutes. Any advice?
Our 9 week miniature schnauzer was trying to jump up on our couch and flipped back and landed on the side of her head. She has whimpered, and then she threw up after drinking water. We do not have a vet on call especially our local vet. No seizures and no signs of vertigo. She won’t eat now and is laying down. We have concern because she hit our hardwood floor. Any advice, would be so appreciated, thank you.
My dog eyes are tearing all the time. Evey other day I Wipe His eyes
My dog was spayed 4 days ago and her vet is closed for the next week (on vacation). They failed to mention that before operating on my pup. Her incision looked fine this morning, but now I'm noticing some discharge. Does this appear to be infected? Is it safe to but antiobiotic ointment on the incision? She seems to be in pain still especially if you get anywhere near the incision. Any advice would be great...
my girlfriends 13 year old Maltese/ Pekingese mix named Buzz had a hernia in his neck and we spent about 4500 to have surgery. Surgery was successful and we haven't really had any problems since but the vet warned us that he has a few places which will likely cause a problem in the future. I think he is having issues again. If I can't find a cheaper vet and cannot pay another 4500 to fix it what other alternatives are there for our family? P.s. I live in Japan. We have pet insurance.
