Macs back gets sore from the withers to point of hip every once in a while. He is prone to bucking when playing with the other horses so I’m wondering if this is the cause. I bought him about a year ago and he had some old scars on his back where he was sore. Recently, the soreness has come back more severe than before and new scarring is appearing but there has been no scratches or open wounds. He has a custom saddle and is stretched and warmed up well before ridden. What could be causing this?

My cat has really sensitive DI and have been trying out expensive foods with cheap foods. Shes currently on Hills Science DI. Before she was on Purina Sensitive Stomach. She did better on that one. Her anus is very sore and swollen from so much wet stools. I dab her off so it wont hurt so bad. She tolerates me dabbing but meows in pain. I'm lost!! What other things can I do to stiffen up her poo? Metamucil? Help! And slightly bloated.
Very bonded cats for five years have started fighting. One made it outside last night and fights started then. Today the conflicts repeated several times. Cat that escaped is fine now and he's been bathed. Other cat wants to attack him on sight and he fights back.
I recently rescued a kitten with apparent ano or micropthalmia. There is some tissue in the sockets, but no visible eye. We are debating on enucleation and stitching them or leaving them open. I want to do whatever is best for him. We scheduled the procedure, but now of course I am second guessing thinking maybe he has "some sort" of vision that we would be taking away. Any advice or info would be helpful!
My kitten is about 6 weeks old. I took him to the vet for a check up 2 days after I got him. He was diagnosed with an eye infection, given erythromycin which we gave him for the full week as prescribed, and his eye is much better. He is still sneezing quite a bit though (up to 10 times a day that I know of). He does sneeze a lot after drinking water, when he is excited/playing, and when he’s nuzzling in the blanket. His breathing seems normal otherwise. Should I be concerned?
My 1 year old Brussels Griffon is in heat but I feel her vagina is way too large for just being in heat. She’s an inside dog and we have no male dogs. There’s zero chance of her being pregnant. We want to get her spayed but she is so small she’s only 5 lbs so we waited longer than we did with all of our other dogs through the years. Her vagina looks 10 x it’s normal size. I’m not exaggerating. Thank you in advance for your time
My dog has been digging and scratching at her ear. It is red and swollen..u can hear that it has liguid in it. She also is broke out around her mouth and her chest has sores that looks like pimples, when they bust they are full of blood.
Not sure if my 50 lb. pit bull ate a 30 mg Oxycodone. Should I be freaking out? Will he be okay?
Hi, my cat who had surgery about a month ago (spayed) hasn’t been acting the same ever since the surgery. She had kittens several months before the surgery and recently she doesn’t want them near. She hisses and sometimes bite them. She is now isolating herself and barely wants to come out. She also skinny than she use to be.. I just need your help, because I think it’s getting worse. I would like to know what you guys think.
Hi, What is the problem with closure of growth plate carpal point? Is that a serious problem with a puppy who born in Nov 2019? The veteran says that my puppy feels hurts when he bend the front legs and he suggest us to take a x-rays to see how is the situation. He is not too sure about it. So should I take the xRay as soon as possible? What if it is the closure of growth plate carpal point, what’s the normal treatment process? Thanks for your help. I really appreciate. Kind regards, Lu
I keep getting conflicting answers. Vet said he has colorectal or prostate cancer. Two here say gas and feces build up. His testicles are like orange size and Dr said swell in back legs is called edema compromised circulation. Vets here don't have the patient and can go only by the attached x-rays. He also has impacted fistulas. Dr recommend euthenasia. Gas build up isn't the same as cancer Blood work shows wbc 43.35 see attached
