La-Z-Boy

I currently feed my male dog prescription Hill's z/d dry dog food I get from his vet. My female dog, who is on a normal food diet and does not need z/d food, wants to eat only the male's z/d food. It is challenging keeping them separated at meal time. Is there a comparable non-prescription food I can feed my female from Hill's that I can buy from Petco at a (considerably) lower price than the z/d?

feline pancreatitis (2x), 10 years old, overweight, cerenia & subcut fluids 2 days ago, won't eat new food canned or kibble (science diet z/d), he needs to eat so i've given him trader joes cat tuna because he will eat that, how long can i give him the cat tuna before figuring out how to get him to eat the z/d? i'm more worried right now about him eating at all rather than eating the z/d

Hi how would you compare blue buffalo Rx diet HF hydrolyzed canned food to hills Z/d hydrolyzed rx canned diet? Trying to find an alternative to royal Canin Selected protein Rx diets which Trixie will no longer eat .. nor does she like the hills z/d. Thanks

My mom found a few kittens a boy and a girl. We have kitten experience. There is a boy and a girl. The girl is doing okay with the kmr and so was the boy. The boy seems to be a preemie and he hasnt been growing. Weve had them for almost a month. The boy had an eye infection which has caused him to become blind. Now he has over come that. But He seems to have started to suck on his genital area. Now his genitals are a deep red and swollen. We dont have the money to take him to the vet. Whattodo

Hello I have two bull terriers a year and a half boy and year old girl. Both NOT neutered. My boy is having hard time but the female its to young and I don't want to nude my boy. Is there a way to neutered just one of them. Or what do you suggest. Thank you.

Cat has pancreatitis 2x, once last week & once year ago. I assume it was mild both times cuz no hospitalization & only symptom frequent vomitting. Question: Because will NOT eat Science Diet z/d or Royal Canine equivalent, canned or kibble, he stopped eating last time & this time...I've got him eating 3 fish-based canned foods from Trader Joes for right now cuz supposed to avoid chicken-based. Is there ANY option aside from z/d or cooking own food for him?

We have a 2 year old jack/chihuahua boy, very loving and full of energy. My wife is wanting to get a 11 month jack russle boy as well. Is this a good idea?

Hello! My 3 yr old goldendoodle has been on Hill's Z/D since April for a possible food allergy. We've seen little improvement and now believe his allergies are enviromental (licking. sneezing, clear runny nose, head shaking, licked the inside of his paw raw this morning). I see that Hill's now has a prescription food Derm Defense. So my question is, could my dog benefit from the Derm Defense? Or is it close enough to the Z/D that the change wouldn't make a difference? Thanks for quick reply Jessica. Diesel was 40kg but dropped rapidly to 28. Before being told it was acid reflux Diesel had a scan, blood tests & was put on Hills z/d. (Bloods were normal, scan showed slight inflammation & was given steroids for it) His appetite is good, he never had a loss of that, or any diarrhea. He only suffered with the vomiting & weight loss. He has z/d wet food still but I’d like to try getting a little weight back on him if possible without upsetting his stomach.

What can I feed my boy to make him gain weight! He's 6mths old. When he was a baby he was a really fat boy. Hes just tall and thin now. He'll eat a little then stop.
