Great questions for Hooch! Absolutely! In small doses this is a great treat usually associated with a kong toy or other toys for dogs. Large quantities may cause stomach upset. A tablespoon would be a fine amount for Hooch!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! It looks like a cowlick- or an area where the hair Stands up funny. It is not uncommon to see these on the bridge of the nose. It’s just something to add to his character but it is not a problem. Good luck and kisses to your new pup!

Hello. The only way to avoid the problem is to avoid the hay. I would definitely make sure you can get & keep some bute on your farm, & the first signs of stocking up, start the bute. If you can familiarize yourself with how the weed looks in the hay, you can pick through it to remove as much as you can. Good luck & thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Yes, he can still be trained. I recommend finding a good trainer and getting a few private sessions first, then joining a group obedience class. Learning with other dogs and people around is very helpful when it's in a controlled situation. Dogs gain confidence and respect when they learn obedience and can behave with distractions. They want to please but need guidance and praise to learn. Dogs respond well to a routine, praise, and treats for good behavior. In addition giving plenty of exercise so Hootch is tired every day is important since a tired dog is less reactive. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Hootch.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This lesion you describe could potentially be something like an abscess for example. However, other things are possible. I recommend that you have Hoss evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. If an abscess or infection was noted, further local therapy with drainage and antibiotics would be recommended. Good luck and best wishes!
