My bird is suddenly falling off the perch not even making an attempt at flying shaking her head none stop, plucking at her feathers but only in the last hour what can I do?

It is unfortunately not possible to know the extent of this just based on a description and an examination would be quite helpful here to determine this better. I would recommend you have her evaluated by a veterinarian who can perform an examination and gather more information to start determining what may be wrong with her so that therapy can be started to help her. I found a baby sparrow 3 weeks ago.It had feather disorders so i used propoxur 1℅ 4 times last week.it's getting a little better but still have feather disorders.sometimes it suddenly start to flutter on ground and i dont know why.
It could be the baby bird is attempting to learn how to fly which is why he flutters to the ground. In some locations it is not legal to care for a wild animal, so it is best to try and find a wildlife rehabilitation center in your area that can properly care for the sparrow and help him be prepared for release back into the wild once he is healthy enough.

A commercial pelleted diet is balanced, healthy and convenient. They can be found in most pet stores or online. Quality brands include Harrison's, Roudybush, Lafeber and Pretty Bird. You can supplement the diet with a small amount of a fortified seed mix, fresh greens and vegetables, cooked grains/beans/pastas and plain rice. Budgies and other birds also enjoy some scrambled egg occasionally.

Thanks for reaching out about Frenchie. It is impossible to tell how serious this is, and a veterinary visit is recommended to assess Frenchie's health and to provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Most avian veterinarians will provide heat support in the 80-85 F range, to give comfort. Good luck.

Thanks for your question, and I am sorry to hear that Trickee may not be feeling great! When a bird gets fluffed or starts sitting in one spot for extended periods of time, we do worry that they don't feel well. They can also fluff because of temperatures in their environment - I would encourage you to evaluate the location of the cage and ensure that there are no drafts and no excessive heat from a window. Once you have addressed these items, it the signs continue, I would recommend taking Trickee in to see a veterinarian. They can perform a thorough physical examination of Trickee and try to determine why he is becoming fluffed. They may have recommendations for diagnostics and treatments depending on what is found as well. I hope that gives you a place to start, and I hope Trickee feels better soon!
