What are some tips for my bird who’s “pregnant” laying eggs? (My male and female both mated) Like what are good things to feed them, tips for eggs
Feed a good quality pelleted diet (Harrison's, Roudybush, Lafeber, Pretty Bird or Exact) supplemented with a fortified seed mix and fresh greens and vegetables. Provide a cuttlebone or mineral block. Always have fresh water available. Provide an appropriately sized nesting box and suitable nesting material (straw, Aspen shaving, shredded newspaper, etc.).

Is there any natural herb/supplement that can help a bird who is experiencing puffed up feathers and bloody droppings?
Unfortunately, you're probably not going to find anything that is effective. The bloody droppings can be due to infection, parasites or malnutrition to name a few causes. The puffed up feathers can be a general symptom of stress or illness. Ideally, Bruno should be physically examined by your veterinarian or an experienced avian veterinarian to diagnose illness or injury. Submit a stool sample to diagnose intestinal parasites or bacterial overgrowth. Do not medicate him without the advice of your veterinarian, even if using herbs or other supplements.

Hello. My bird Picasso is an active bird (he chirps, screams, flies around) but he doesnt seem to play or be entertained by anything. How do i entertain my shy/lazy bird?
Picasso is very cute! Entertaining him greatly depends on what he is interested in. If he likes to be out and about with you, setting up a cage-top or stand playpen where he can be near you but have things to chew on or play with may be fun for him. Spending time together bonding or learning some tricks together may also be enriching for him. Some birds love to shower, so setting up a perch in the shower and letting him explore/enjoy the steam and mist may be fun for him too. If he doesn't like his current toys, trying out different ones that offer treats, encourage preening, etc may be more enriching for him.

Can you name some very exciting treats for birds? I've been trying to connect with my bird for a while now, I've had him for two months, but he still doesn't trust me. I was hoping to get him to like me with some treats.
Hi, and thank you for this question. If jim was not hand fed as a baby, he will likely never be truly tame. If you feed him pellets rather tnan seeds as his main diet, then things like sunflower seeds can become very effective treats.

Hey is there any spray to keep my birds feathers healthy please suggest?
Hello and thank you for reaching out to Boop by Petco. If birds are healthy, there are no sprays that should be applied to their feathers. In fact, some sprays found online or in pet stores can be harmful to birds, either to their skin or their lungs. If you believe there is a problem with your bird's feathers, I recommend contacting your primary veterinarian who takes care of him to see if he needs to be seen in person for an exam. If he has something like mites that are causing him to itch, he may require specific treatment. I hope this is helpful - best of luck with your budgie!
