A racoon or possum may be showing interest in my cat flap door that is installed in storm door,... is there anything I can put there over night when closed to repel? Will lavender branch or rosemary or mint keep them away? Will keeping outside flood liget keep them away? Any suggestions or experience will be greatly appreciated. I love in new jersey usa. Help! We have a neighbor who otherwise is quite tolerable or even nice at times. The problem is they have 2 German shepherds that they put in an upstairs room when they leave the house with the windows a little bit open. If we or any other neighbors walk out onto their driveway or lawn or whatever the dogs really get to barking. As you know, the German shepherd bark is one of the loudest for a reason of them being protector type dogs. I'm going to try the "Quiet" command as the article suggests.

My parents have a German sheppard and he can be quite aggressive. Everyone that comes over is terrified to even get out of the car but they are in denial and think that he would take hurt anyone. my hound howls when i go out, hes causing problems and need to know how to keep him quiet. I can''t afford to hire a trainer and hes usually good when not alone. the only choices i can see is for him to find a new home or try a bark collar, the neighbours are harassing us and my wife is getting very stressed and thats not good because of an illness.

one of my friends who lives in a two bedrooms flat owns a german shepherd dog and tells me that they are perfectly adaptable in small appartments IF YOU WALK THEM ATLEAST 3 TIMES. another friend of mine who lives in big house says you need a big yard and shit to raise a german shepherd. what to believe? cause i am raising one in a 2 bedroom apartment as well and i too have no yard. also there are no behaviour issues with the gsd of the 1st friend while there are with the other.
