You're welcome! I'm not entirely sure what brands are offered in India, but [here are some good foods](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/category/bird/bird-food-and-treats/bird-food/parrot-hookbill-food) from our store that can give you a template of what kind of food to feed Meenu. Any formula for parrots or hookbills should be appropriate for conures. Most pet stores will carry something similar, so if you have one nearby you can use this list to shop for similar ingredients. Adding in some fresh fruits and veggies as snacks and treats can also help round out Meenu's diet and make things more exciting for her!

AT this age, he should be weaning. Begin introducing a pelleted diet, about 1/4 cup daily to start. Harrison's, Roudybush, Lafeber or Pretty Bird are excellent brands. You may still need to provide supplemental feedings. Monitor his weight closely. You can also offer fresh greens and vegetables as well as a seed mix such as NutriBerries.

Thanks for reaching out about your conure. Decreased appetite often shows are dark feces. Seed is a poor diet for parrots, deficient in vitamins, minerals and proteins. Birds need to eat a wide variety of vegetables, cooked beans as a protein source and avian pellets. The head bobbing might be reversion to baby-hood, wanting to be fed by mom (induced by stress of new home). Syringe feed if needed to maintain weight. Good luck.

Thanks for reaching out about Rico. Watery stool could also be polyuria, increased urine. Seed is a poor diet for birds generally deficient in vitamins, minerals, proteins, etc. A veterinary visit to review diet and husbandry is recommended, but also to assess increased water intake/urination. Good luck.

If your girlfriend knows what their favorite treats are, stock up on it! You'll want to begin slowly, and if at anytime the birds become stressed, take a break and let everyone relax. You can start by just offering them the treat by tossing it to them or their cage, until they are comfortable with you around. From there, you can work on offering a treat by hand, or letting them sit on your hand (most birds will bite if they come up on your shoulder and aren't used to you, so keeping them on your hand can help everyone feel comfortable!). As they get used to you, continuing to offer treats and just interacting with them can help you to bond. If they become stressed, bite, hiss, etc, placing them back in their cage and giving them a break, and then returning back to the previous step they were comfortable with is best.
