All Absorb or Four Paws training pads are excellent pads. Both are very absorbent and have a protective layer to minimize or eliminate messes or staining. This is my own opinion. You may be able to purchase them at your local Petco or at www.petco.com.

Watch the level of play! If your puppy is getting increasingly aroused, then STOP play for a few seconds and then give him a toy. This technique will prevent your puppy from reaching the excitement level of play where he starts the nipping behavior – by preventing this escalation you are successfully preventing this intolerable behavior. · Another great option that is highly recommended in addition to the above suggestions is to enroll your puppy in Puppy Preschool – these classes provide an ideal avenue to introduce both you and your puppy to the most modern and humane ways to socialize your puppy to be a valuable member of the family! What NOT to do: · NEVER punish your puppy by hitting, slapping, flicking on the nose, putting fingers down his throat, pinching lips, kicking, or any other physical means, as this will NOT solve the nipping problem. Punishment such as this will only make the problem worse and will instead encourage fear or aggressive behavior in your puppy. · Punishment

There is no scientific data that says these sprays work. I assume that you are talking about spray attractants for housetraining a puppy. The best advice is to look at reviews on Amazon and choose one with the best reviews. Because veterinarians don't really study these kinds of things and most of the recommendations come from dog trainers based on personal experience with using them. Also if you ask top dog trainers they will not focus so much on the spray attractants, but instead will focus on consistent training methods to get your pet to use the potty on the pee pads only. Which involves close monitoring of your puppy, diligence to picking up your puppy and taking her to the puppy pad when she goes somewhere else, and crating your puppy when you cannot monitor her at all times.

Thanks for posting this question. The thing to remember about house training is that we are actually teaching the dog the preference and desire to go outside. We aren't really teaching them to not go inside. Kind of backwards, but that's how they get trained. Keep her close when she is inside, even tether her leash to your belt loop. Anytime you see her act like she might need to go potty get her outside. When she successfully urinates outside give her treats and lots of praise. Keep doing this and she will want to go outside. Good luck and thanks for using Pet Coach!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! A couple ideas: try something like FreshPatch which essentially sends you a patch of real grass in a cardboard container. Or, try crate training since most pups will not pee in their “house”. Here is a good link for crate training. http://www.aahneenah.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/crate-training-your-puppy.pdf As far as the aggression, you’ll need to get that under control as soon as possible. Any form of aggression toward humans should be met with a firm “no” and stopping all play/walking. Practice just walking by and touching his back end frequently so that it’s normal and no big deal. Neutering often helps with aggression so keep that in mind. Finally, some dog require more intensive care so talk with your vet about anti anxiety medication or professional training.
