My ferret got outdoors and was gone for 30 hours. On his return he was normally active. I gave him a bath and checked him for injuries. When we returned home, he drank some water ate a few bites of his food, has been in and out of his hammock since , only gets out to get a drink and use his litter box. is he just tired.
My 5 year old Bernese Mountain has developed an unusually red eye that is typically clear. It is almost as if her third eyelid is visible now & it was not before. Any idea on what this condition might be? No known injury as she is typically an indoor dog, she does spend some time outdoors during the day.
My 4 year old shih tzu has started to limp on right hind leg. She's hesitant to jump up or go upstairs and the limp is far more noticeable when she first moves or gets up. When she walks or lies on her back the right hind leg falls in towards the left to the point of almost touching. What could this be?
Is this katarata(cataract)? Is my dog gonna die? Should i buy my dog a medicine/s? If so. What medicine? Im just panicing about this all the timw because she always hit some stuff when we walk
While we were away, our dog ran out of food (Iams minichunks). His sitter picked up a small bag of grain-free food (forget the brand). When we returned we bought him a bag of Pedigree for adult dogs. Now he has been eating grass, vomiting, and his nose is dry to the touch. He has been lethargic and hasn't eaten his meal today. Should we switch him back to what he's used to (Iams minichunks) or just let his system adjust to Pedigree?
I adopted a border terrier mix about a year ago. He does not do well around other dogs. When he hears one he whines. When he sees one on a walk he barks and pulls on the leash like he is telling me "let me at him", then he turns around and starts whining and looking at me like save me. We have a great trainer that has helped with this but he still shows aggression when seeing (new dogs especially) on a walk.
