My male jack russell staffy cross is 6 months old, he started licking his penis loads till the point it became red. I found out my neighbour has a female that hasn't been spayed and recently came into heat. I'm wondering if he's to young or if he's doing it as he can smell her? If I let him into the garden he'll just sit by the fence crying for her. I've put an Elizabethan collar on him to just get him to leave it alone as I don't want him damaging himself. Is there anything else I can do?
My 3 1/2 month old miniature daushund, 6-7 lbs, Gretchen, eats her poop and our cats poop out of her litter box. my dog is coughing, how can I help him? he is coughing like there’s mucus in his throat and he often gags. He only coughes when there is a movement like getting all excited when i come home or getting on the car to get to the vet and all of a sudden he would be exhausted and breathing so heavily and coughing. Faith is a very happy and active dog. Today see has been stationary. She has had two bowel movements and has an appetite. Usually she runs to kitchen if some is eating. barks at front yard nouce and very playful. That has not happened today. I am concern.
I am picking up my cairn terrier puppy from a breeder tomorrow who said she not a vet just gave the puppy her 12 week old shot. She said she will give me paperwork on this but will this be acceptable when I need to board? Also, I have used a collar on my 2 previous puppies with no harm. I would like to continue this because especially before she is licensed, I can put a name tag on heaven forbid she got lost. Is there a problem using a collar? It never caused a neck or throat injury before
Hello, I was hoping to get some answers about a husky we just adopted. We have had our husky for 2 nights and three days and something that we have noticed is that compared to our other pupp he has very low energy and constantly cries for now reason. Sometimes it gets very bad and he starts to howl. We also noticed that he has very low appetite and we have seen him poop only twice since I’ve had him. The stool is some what runny. He does drink a good amount of water and urinate regularly.
