How long does it take for a cat to get used to a ID tag
When Jasper is playing, he's rather bite us than his toys! He has a wide variety of toys (stealing some of the cats as well) but he loves to chase our feet when we walk and bite our legs/clothes. What do I do about this?
Jasper often "plays" with our two cats. One cat runs away, but the other just lays there. I wouldn't mind so much if he was nice to her, but he gets on top of her and bites her neck. Is this normal playful behaviour or something more serious?
So along with Jasper, we have two cats. He continuously goes after the kitty litter and eats everything the box contains. The litter box has a cover on it, but he sticks his head through. Hes always supervised but the box is in the porch where he goes to let us know he has to go outside so when he goes out into the porch, he runs for the kitty litter and before we can stop him he's already eaten a bit of it. How do we stop this behaviour?
Jasper has been scratching himself pretty roughly, he had his nails trimmed a few days ago and we've checked him for fleas and ticks, he's free of them. He gave himself a pretty rough cut up on his head, above his ear. Is it safe to wash and put anything on it to help it heal?
My cat keeps chewing on her ID tag is there any way to make her stop?
I have acquired a 6 month old kitten who came from an overbred and possibly inbred mother. He had a history of ripping his neck skin open to the point of needing sutures. He had a large abscess on his foot and while at the veterinarian I was scratching his head to distract him and the skin tore open . She thinks he has that rare condition Ethas Damos (not sure on spelling) have you heard of this . I am a former veterinary technician so I understand most medical issues.
I had good advice from you to walk my cat,who loves outside with cat-harness and need some more advices,he hates to be hold in his chest area over the lungs when I take him from the ground,so instead of regular cat-harness I bought polar(he loves polar)vest with place for the leash,is that good or what is the best to be less disturbing and most difficult to take off, because he's strong and clever, I'm afraid if he escape from it,he won't come home for longer time and he will lose his trust in me
My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors, and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
I am a single Male with no kids that lives alone. I own a "Very Rare" unique 5 month old Female Purebred Boston Terrier owning 4 colors to her being Champagne, White, Brindle, and a small patch of light Seal. Putting it simply, if you were me, and was wanting to purchase online the most breathtaking and head turning Cologne/Perfume scent for a Purebred female Boston Terrier owned by a male with cost as no option, what Cologne or Perfume would you recommend that i couldn't go wrong with ? THANKS
What do you think this mark is on his paw?
My male black and white cat may need the surgery to shorten his urethra - he has blocked three times over a eighteen month period. He does not have crystals or stones the vet has bladdered scanned him and he appears to get stressed and develops a mucus plug. I have placed anti stress smells fleiway- boxes and low fat food low sodium diet. I cannot afford another blockage but am very concerned post this surgery and stress for my cat with having collar etc and I have been told he will wee differen
