hello, i have a mini who is fat and i am wanting to help him lose weight before it too late. He lives with a 16.3hh horse. Mini is somewhat lame and isnt showung any signs of laminitis other than shortening his walkimg stride. I want to help him lose weight before its too late. His normal diet consist of Timothy Hay, no grain, sometimes Bermuda pellets if the other horse doesn't finish his it. Pasture every day for a few hours but grass isn't rich most of the time. Hi, I have a great Pyrenees's/Anatolian shepherd. She's almost 6yrs old, 105 lbs She has arthritis in her hind legs and back. Her vet has her on osteo biflex and prevocox 227 mg daily. She's active. But getting up and moving around for the first couple minutes is really hurting her. After that she moves stiffly. What else can I do for her?

The vet gave me a prescription for rimadyl because manski had some stiffness in his hips and I noticed him moving slower. I cannot continue this pain medication due to the cost so my question is, the supplement cosequin that addresses arthritis and joint pain would that be a good alternative and I can afford that
