All Absorb or Four Paws training pads are excellent pads. Both are very absorbent and have a protective layer to minimize or eliminate messes or staining. This is my own opinion. You may be able to purchase them at your local Petco or at www.petco.com.

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. If the puppy pads do not work, I would recommend a product called Fresh Patch, which you can order online. I have found that potty training is much more successful with this product. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco. I honestly would recommend using Fresh Patch. I've had so many clients have success stories with potty training their puppy because of this product. It is basically a patch of grass that you order online that comes in a cardboard box that auto-ships to you to replace the used one. I would look into this and try it out to see if it helps more than the puppy pad. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Place a litterbox in each corner of the cage. When he goes outside of it, pick up the pellets and place them in the box he uses most often. Do the same with his urine. Soak It up with a tissue or scoop the wet bedding into the litterbox. Remove the litterboxes he doesn't use, one at a time, once you have determined his preference. You'll need to gradually acclimate him to allowing his feet to be touched. Allowing his feet to remain wet or wetting them frequently may predispose him to infection.

Since the behavior only occurs when you are away and resolves when you get back, I wonder if it is stress related. There are a number of options to decrease stress. You could consider an Adaptil diffuser which would work for a month ( https://www.adaptil.com/us/Products/ADAPTIL-Calm-Home-Diffuser ). I have also had luck with Rescue Remedy ( http://www.bachflower.com/rescue-remedy-pet/ ) which can be added to the water. There are also a number of calming collars and oral supplements that you could try as well. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/category/dog/dog-health-and-wellness/dog-calming-aids Good luck! I hope that was helpful and gives you some ideas. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
