my 17 yr. old 5 # Pomeranian (neutered male) has to wear a male wrap, due to frequent wetting in the house... but can wriggle out of it...I found the Vet's Best Perfect Fit ...which sounds like it would work well, but I need a liner that is really absorbent to put in it... What would you suggest? (that's affordable)?
Is there a good brand of wee-wee pads? Money is not an issue, but my Buddy is being trained to potty in and out of the house, but these pads are not good at all. Is there a pad out there recommended above another that will hold a good amount of pee? HELP
We have a 10 week old beagle. She is super smart and already knows sit and lay down. There are maybe two or three times a week where we have to crate her due to work. She is only left in the crate at a maximum of four hours at a time. The question I have is should we be putting a puppy pad inside the crate since she can't seem to hold it longer than 2 hours? Her crate might be slightly big for her now but she will grow into it. Thanks.
I want to line my dogs crate with a blanket or pad so he can be comfortable when he has to stay in it for a few hours, but he keeps chewing and ingesting blankets. Is there anything I can do to stop this behaviour so that he doesn't eat the blanket?
I bought Duke a nice new dog bed. He likes it but pees on it daily. I’m assuming to mark it as his. It has a removable waterproof cover so I can just wash it. But washing it daily isn’t always an option. Other than just washing it daily is there anything I can do?
So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.
Hi! My 8 week old puppy is brand-new: 3 days with us! We are crate training him and he is taking to it really well but he’s peeing his crate at night - he never does during the day. He does not whine at night & he has a divider since his crate is sized to grow. We clean thoroughly whenever he pees. We’ve tried adding a 2:30 am walk (bedtime is 1230-630)- should I also take out the soft bedding? I read that could help but I feel bad for him on the crate floor! :(
I have a white German Shepherd puppy 6 moths old and it will not stop going pee and poop in her crate. She can be outside for over an hour and when she comes right in she does it. We feed her in her cage, have bedding in there, and her cage is not over large for her. We disinfect her crate after every time she goes. What can we do
Vivi wets the bed in her sleep pretty much every night. I've had her checked out by a vet, gotten blood work done, but everything appears to be normal. The vet gave her tolterodone 4mg twice a day, which seemed to work for a few days at a time but the bed is wet more times than it is dry. She has an enlarged heart and arrhythmia as well. Is there anything I can do for this? Also, we don't get dog diapers or diaper pads easily here. Can I use normal unscented sanitary pads with a dog panty?
My 8 month old puppy ate half of a urinary poise pad. Would the absorption liner cause a need to go to a vet if she vomited for 2 hours but seems ok today.j
Charles is a 6 mo old yorkie. We have mastered the crate and he has a puppy apartment for his sleeping and crate potty needs (the crate is large enough & has a divider that separates the sleeping area from the potty area). He hardly ever messes in it. However when he is out of the crate, if I am not careful, the whole house is his pee pad. I would like him to use a pee pad when I can't get him out on time. I use dog treats and praise but still struggling.
My 12 y.o. Chihuahua/jack Russell keeps wetting and defacating in the house. I have put down pee pads and he will pee a foot from it or on the carpet. What can I do?
