Hi My adopted dog tested negative for distemper last May 28. She had her first 5in1 vaccines last July 8. Then After 2 weeks, she was tested again (needed before surgery) and it came out positive for distemper, exact result = S3 using ELISA Igm test. She had a retest after 4 days with the same S3 result and doctor said it could be the vaccines. Do you think she’s free from distemper? Is she okay to play with other dogs? I just want to get a second opinion on her result. Thank you!
Wondering if this appears to look infected...I think it does and have an appointment but thought I would ask. I have DOUXO ear cleaning solution but dont want to try it if it will cause more harm. Thanks!
My dog has a crusty raised spot and dark spots around it. I use medicated shampoo (DOUXO) Chlorhexidine monthly on her but it returns. Seems to itch her mildly. I think she smells a little yeasty also. She has had quite a history but is hanging in. She turned 15 recently.
If possible please look at previous questions. It's 3 weeks and bump has not changed and no other symptoms exist except for very sporadic head shaking and paw licking from allergies. Been told this bump is common on Pits. I'm going with its either yeast or bacterial infection. Is wiping daily with Douxo Chlorhexidine 3% PS pads a waste if there is no open wounds? Have not visited Vet and have no plans to visit Vet.
My 7 year old chiweenie has all these black specks on his stomach. They have been there for about a month. I don't know if it has something to do with his dandruff skin that I been trying to maintain. I have switch his food to Science Hill sensitive stomach and skin hoping that helps his dandruff skin. As well I been using Douxo Sevorrhea mousse, but only on his back next to his tail since he only gets it there. Ay I just want to make sure that this specks are nothing serious. Help! Plz thank u
Hello, My kitten has diarrhea,I've been giving her this medicine for 2nd day she only drinks milk as a kitten tho she has teeth.it's a bit hot as I keep the ac hot for her sake.. shes super playful and drinks lots of milk. I've read if shes sick she should lose appetite and have a bad mood but shes neither? Continue giving her this medicine and raise the ac for her? Shes taking douxo mousse so can it be a side effect? I need help! Vets a last choice. My pit mix has broke out underneath on her lower tummy. No bugs from outside and she didn't get anything or into anytjing. She's like the other half of me, I know what she does 24/7. She's not covered from fleas but I've not seen any on her. At first it was bubbly red rash with black on top, wiped off, now gets darker red every day. Liquid gel Benadryl has helped ONLY when used. Her tummy is on fire but she doesn't act like it bathers her.. I've tried DOUXO. No.
Hello, 1-toothpaste:using petsmile,no complain,but pricey.Other enzymatic toothpastes like sentry petrodex,virbac cet,nutri vet are good too? Or petsmile is the best of the best? Having greenie daily too. 2-itch relief shampoo:vet suggested wash paws twice a day with down dish soap (unknown allergy,licks paws,eats fish food and it's a nightmare to give her med), I would to get a shampoo recommendation for her baths and confirm that is safe to wash her paws with Down in daily basis please. Is there any over the counter shampoos you recommend to help soothe my pup that has demodectic mange? She was switched from trifexis to simparica and interceptor plus for treatment but I want a shampoo that will help soothe it during regular baths I give her.

At Dr Daniel Fonza; unfortunately we don't have Duoxo and Benadryl here but I've found a alternative shampoo similar to Duoxo that costs about 40 dollars in my country. Also where can I find the fish oils and the others? I'll try to ask friends if someone can help me out. Thanks a lot!
