How often should dogs receive dorzolamide and timolol eye drops for glaucoma?
My dog had her eye removed 1.5 years ago. She has been dorzolamide/timolal drops since and the pressure remained good. She is 11 , a cockapoo and had glaucoma. I refilled her meds today and she missed one day. Her eye is running, slightly green and the lower part of the eye is quite red. I also gave her some polysporin eye drops twice today. Could this be an infection or my worst fear- glaucoma in her good eye. She is not herself at all.
If my cat was prescribed dorzolimide three times daily and timolol twice daily for glaucoma , would I be able to use the combination timolol and dorzolimide drops as opposed to 2 seperate drops? He is also on prednisolone drops. Having so many drops stresses him out as he hates them and I was thinking if I could combine those 2 it may be easier.
Can latanoprost 0.005% and 1% sodium carboxymethylcellulose with stabalized oxychlora complex 0.075mg, boric acid,calcium chloride,magnesium chloride, sodium borate & sodium chloride be used together safely? My pet was prescribed trusopt for the pressure in her eye which has taken her sight. Its not certainif this is permanent. How long before I might see a glimmer of improvement if there is to be any?
My 10 year old biewer terrier had an eye removed due to glaucoma. The vet suggested sandoz-timolol and ratio-prednisolone for his remaining eye, which has no sign of glaucoma. A second opinion from another vet says this is not necessary as it will not prevent glaucoma. What is your opinion? Thanks.
My dog scratched her eye and was prescribed apo-diclofenac ophthalmic (anti inflamatory) and sandoz tobramycin (antibiotic). Which one should be given 10 minutes before the other? I forgot my vets instructions....
