Dorzolamide is applied in the eyes. If discharge is present, the area should be cleansed with a sterile eyewash solution prior to applying the solution. Shake the solution well before using. When applying the ophthalmic solution, place one hand under and around your pet's chin and lift upward, so the pet's eyes are looking towards the ceiling. Rest your other hand on top of the pet's head. Squeeze the drops into the corner of the eye, taking care not to touch the dropper to the eye surface. Continue to hold the head back for a moment while the drops disperse over the whole eye surface. Take care not to touch the tip of the tube or dropper to the pet's eye, lids, or eyelashes. If you are applying more than one medication to the eye, allow five minutes between applications so one medication is not washed out by the next.

How often should dogs receive dorzolamide and timolol eye drops for glaucoma?
If my cat was prescribed dorzolimide three times daily and timolol twice daily for glaucoma , would I be able to use the combination timolol and dorzolimide drops as opposed to 2 seperate drops? He is also on prednisolone drops. Having so many drops stresses him out as he hates them and I was thinking if I could combine those 2 it may be easier.

Can I use this saline contact rinse solution for my mouses eye drops? It is a sterile, isotonic buffered saline solution that contains boric acid, sodium borate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride preserved with polyaminopropyl biguanide (0.00003%) and edetate disodium (0.025%). It is not a disinfectant. I was recommended to use saline, but I am not sure if these ingredients are safe. If not, do you have a recommendation?
