Ivdd- 6 year old Dash hound Chihuahua mix. Went from walking to paralyzed in 3 weeks. I know there are 5 stages or IVDD however, is it possible to go from limping to stage 5 in such a short period.
My dash hound is old - about 13 years. He has a foul smell to him and a bump on his spine. I can't afford a vet to get him checked. Any ideas as to what I should do? I am prepared for the worst
Our cat has always been very active: she loves to dash up and down the stairs and is very fast. But now that she's getting older, I wonder if her active nature will cause a strain on her joints in the long run. Are there any warning signs I should look out for? Thanks for your consideration!
So my dog is 4years old and breaking out and his skin is sensitive he has bumps on his head and tail he lost a patch of hair on his tail and some spots on his head he ran into the coffee table last night and cut his head not severally but enough to lose hair and make a little dash I've had him on blue buffalo basic
We are buying a puppy. We went to see him today and noticed a little lump just under his eye. The lady we are buying him from said he would be visiting the vet next week about it. Is this something that should stop us from putting down a deposit for him? He is a mix breed (Dad: Dash&Pug Mum:Yorkie), 4 weeks old and due to be collected after 8 weeks.
My dog Dash is 11 years old, Golden Retriever + Cocker Spanel Mix. He recently tested positive for Lyme and was prescribed Doxycycline for 30 days. He has none of the normal symptoms or stiffness associated with Lyme but I had 2 quick questions 1. How long after the treatment is complete can I have him checked to see if the medication worked? 2. His bloodwork came back and showed his Kidneys are a 1.7 ( supposed to be a 1). What does this mean?
My chihuahua (with a dash of min pin) Honey is approximately 7-8 years old and within the last few months she's developed a growth on her back that concerns me. My fiancé took her to the vet and he shrugged it off as a normal benign growth some small breeds get, but he did no tests. Since then it's grown slightly and become a little bunchier - like a cluster of grapes. It has a bit of dark area that you can see in the closeup picture. Generally it doesn't seem to bother her. Should I worry?
