Can I dilute my dogs shampoo into a spray before I brush her?
Hello. This product does have some shampoo in it, so you can see if this leaves a soapy residue on Callie's coat after spraying her. If there is not too much residue, then diluting before brushing should be fine. If not, you may still need to rinse her off. They do make leave on dry shampoos & conditioners for dogs. My favorite brand is Duoxo. It comes in a shampoo that has chlorhexidine and climbazole that treats bacterial and fungal problems. However, if you are unable to find this or something similar at a pet store then any drug store is likely to have a chlorhexidine OR salicylic acid shampoo in their human shampoo section.
